Song Credits and Liner Notes

There are three things I love about Christmas - family, friends and music.  And there are lots of those on this CD.  This is my second project for "A Christmas To Cure Cancer." And like the first one, it's dedicated to the memory of my mother, who lost her third fight with cancer in 2004.

I started out by picking some of my favorite Christmas tunes - there are so many! Then I put the family and friends in for the instrumentation and vocals.  My favorite rhythm section: my friends Sean Ferguson on piano and Jim Rupp on drums and my son Nikolas on bass.  Two other dear friends, Dave Powers and Brett Allen helped me out with piano and guitar.  I had a lot of help with the vocals: my daughter Michalea sang two tracks, Jim's daughter Evie helped us out, Cabot Rea, his daughter Cassie, my long-time friend Sue sang some backup, and my good friend Priscila let her son Luca sing on a track.  Mark Puskarich added his nieces and nephews, Alex, Justin, Claire and Kristen to the kids’ chorus as well.  My friend and favorite sax player, Michael Cox, added to the project.

So, I want to thank all my friends and family who gave of their time and talent.  I also want to thank John Schwab for donating the studio time.  I hope this music is as much fun to listen to as it was to record.  Merry Christmas – Kelly Delaveris
